Treiber ethernet controller acer aspire one zg5 install#
Possibly having the network cable installed during the first install caused the problem. If there is no traffic then it appears to be off. Under Linux there is no visual indication that the adapter is turned on. I continued with the installation and now it recognizes it although it behaves differently than Windows 10.

I reinstalled Mint over the Windows 10 install without the network cable attached and I noticed in the pre-install that it recognized the wireless adapter. The output from your request is at the end but things are working now. Is there are way to see the bottom of the windows?Īny assistance would be greatly appreciated. Some of the system windows are taller than that. On a side note, the max screen height is 800 pixels. (Windows 10 is HORRIBLY slow on this machine). I confirmed the WiFi adapter is working by installing Windows 10 on the machine and the WiFi adapter is detected and automatically enabled/turned on during installation and connects to an Access Point so it is not a hardware issue. The slide switch does not turn the light on when running under LMDE. The computer has a small spring-loaded slide switch that controls the on/off state of WiFi: Slide once for on, slide again for off. When I look at networking it has the option of turning on WiFi but nothing happens when I do and when I go back in to networking WiFi is shut off again. The installed hardware list shows the device so it is recognized at some point but it will not turn on. The netbook has a wired ethernet port which works fine and 2.5Ghz Wifi Provided by an Atheros AR242x. I downloaded LMDE 4 32-bit version () and installed it without a problem. I have an old Acer Aspire One Zg5 Netbook with an Intel Atom 32 bit processor.
